Welcome to our School

PS 80 The Thurgood Marshall Magnet School of Multimedia and Communication is a neighborhood school serving grades 3K through 5 in NYC District 28 located at 171-05 137th Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11434. This school is in its own building.

In the 3K through fifth grade classes, teachers ask children questions, invite back-and-forth conversation to develop language skills, mutual respect and promote positive social interactions . Children are encouraged to communicate and learn language skills through collaboration and communication. They have lots of time to talk and ask questions.
